Flydende Lava
Good to look at for type and book design/layout. Awesome typeface up there. I love big geo-spacey fonts. Especially with very organic naturalistic things. There's some more humorous stuff on the site if you're more into that. Overall, really cool designer.

home, sweet home
I'm having a hard time deciding if I'm in love with this house or if I'm deathly afraid of it. It reminds me of someplace Wilhelm Staehle would live. It's that old, cranky, victorian-ness.

Dan Lisowski
So today in class we had a graduate of UDVC, Dan Lisowski, come in and talk to us about what he's been up to. Wow, was it inspiring. He is a very talented illustrator, just take a look at some of his stuff. He really had a lot to say about making your work your lifestyle. Words of wisdom that I will very much take into account.

misprint
Must visit this site! So many freebies! Not no mention all the fun stuff to look at. Misprinted Type has some really interesting digital collages, paintings and typefaces. There's a nice mismatched, scribbly quality to this work that just makes me want to look at it forever.

neon
Spectacular neon lights by Stefan Bruggemann. So many colors. These definitely take signs to the extreme.

black rainbows
This is just one of the amazing pieces of jewelry shown on Solange Azagury-Partridge's site. Everything is so futuristic and galactic, but so earthy and raw at the same time. It's just so satisfying to look at.

wild animal
These photos from Jane Aldridge's blog, Sea of Shoes are so playful and fun! It makes me want to go dress up and run around in the woods. And those furs! I'm all for saving animals, but you have to admit those furs are a beautiful thing.

flamin'
So Martin D'Orgeval thought it was a good idea to set a menagerie/botany lab aflame. Was he right or what?! This place is awesome! I'd love to hear a story about it. It looks like there's some huge deep underlying plot that led to all of this beautiful destruction. I'm in awe.
