paint my numbers

Wow, this really makes me want a paint by number wall. It is perfectly obscure, in a very cozy way. Check out Kayte Terry's blog, This is Love Forever, for more cool thingys.

I kinda think it looks like hair. If you squint your eyes and picture it blonde.

goodbye summertime

Back to classes on Tuesday. Saying my last farewell to spunky summertime... on a rainy day. And I want there to actually be busses like that.

Pine trees from my favorite place ever: Valley Gardens.

Aren't these sliced magazines by Nate Page awsome? It's crazy to think about how these sculptures were once any ordinary subscription you'd see on the waiting room table.

disco sticks

Sticks + metallic fabric + glitter + yarn = fun wall art.  Sometimes super boredom exudes creativity.  And makes fun shadows.

So basically this graffiti group of two girls in Berlin, called Neozoon, sticks fur silhouettes of animals on walls.  How cool is that?  Watch the video.

I really don't know anything about this image.  It's complete absurdity just caught my eye.  It kind of reminds me of the idea of hanging the heads of game on a person's wall as a trophy, but opposite.  What do you think?

Such a cute little video of a Blitzen Trapper song, directed by Jade Harris.

What I get after running around in a field with haystacks around dusk.  Well, this plus too many mosquito bites.

Casey Jex Smith

This use of color and line just mesmerize me.  It's a piece called Steeple by Casey Jex Smith.  Go take a look at all of his other pieces.  You're bound to find something you'll love.

sleep music

I came across this french lullaby a few weeks into the summer
and just adored it. I found more like it in a few different
languages (turkish, yiddish, and greek) today. Not too sure
how much good these will do me, but I played them for my
beta, Frenchie, and he seemed to like them. Who knows.
