More maclab homework, yay! This is my poster for Empire of the Sun. I do believed I've posted about them before. If it's not apparent I do L them very much.
These things are genius for you animal activists out there. I want to make one myself. But maybe just antlers. And quite large. Another winter session activity to add to my ever-growing list. ugh.
This just makes me want to adventure and climb mountains and such. It's a drawing by Valerie Luith for Tugboat Printshop. I've also seen pillows featuring her work at Urban. Tres cool.
This exhibition looks like so much fun! This was done by Eltono, a spanish street artist, or "public space artist" as he calls it. I would love to see graffiti done like this around where I live. Heck, I'd love to do this to buildings near me... I just lack the guts.
Tyra would be proud. Very compelling image with the wolf-skin. Way to take something pretty scary and make it beautiful. Love that necklace too. I might attempt a re-create. Hmm.
Field trip today in type! We went to Raven Press, UD's personal letterpress printing studio, and this is what came of it. My group set the teeny tiny 12pt that's upsidown. Whoops. It was such a tease playing there today to learn that we won't really even get to use it this year! No fair.
These guys are absolutely crazy! I love them exponentially! The worlds the come up with in their videos are, well, out of this world. Don't be turned off by their eccentricity though. Once you listen to the music enough it gets easier to appreciate.
